'Indian Powerbrands Conference’ planned for London

Some of India’s leading companies are to atttend a major conference in London next month.

Business leaders including those from TATA, Kingfisher and Sahara, will join academics, UK business leaders, politicians and global sportsmen at the ‘The Indian Powerbrands Conference’.

Organised by Planman Marcom, an awards ceremony which follows the conference will honour global business leaders and icons, both from India and across the world.

Priti Patel MP who is set to speak at the conference said “The cultural and economic importance of India both to the UK and the rest of the world cannot be overstated.

"Indian companies now set the pace and the standard in many areas, and Indian thought-leadership is increasingly shaping global thinking.

"The ‘Indian Powerbrands’ conference is therefore a timely opportunity for India to showcase itself, its commercial significance, its business acumen and its business leaders to the world. I am excited by this event and look forward to attending with Parliamentary and Government colleagues”.

The Conference will take place at the Marriot Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London on December 12th 2011 The keynote speaker is hoped to beRt. Hon. William Hague MP, Foreign Secretary.

Other speakers will include Priti Patel MP and business management specialist ProfessorArindam Chaudhuri.
